The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you see them in action.

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock makes several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it doesn't have some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal option for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled with the buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also comes with an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone but it can help you keep the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and features are among the best on the market however it's expensive.
It's a tiny base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robot vacuum I've tried that does well at picking up dirt from floors that aren't. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets that are soft.
Although it doesn't have the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price tag.
If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It can remember the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life while offering better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is less expensive and much simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky material like cereal.
