Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste many other robots are unable to avoid (and often slough through). It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It even could take small gravel and sand which other robots can't. It did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, while not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it can't clean the stairs, it's an option for those who want both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best option. This category of bots typically has a built-in water tank, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. These bots also come with a variety of extra features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not fail to impress. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it doesn't have some of the premium features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great choice if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeable soft around obstacles like tables and walls and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.
If floor vacuum robot choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin is done without difficulty. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people however it can help you keep track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however it's quite expensive.
Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.
And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tried that does very well at cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.
While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price price.
If you're looking to save some money, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many other great choices available with a wide range of eufy models priced substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, a Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brush, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock close to a power outlet and ample space for it to move around but.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and can be placed under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The most important aspect that sets the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life. It also offers better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin, which doesn't require as much emptying. It also comes with boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 however, is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and it's less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
